The Australian Manufacturing Workers Union (AMWU) has today launched the above video on its Make Australia website showcasing the wide range of inventions from Australia over its history. I’ll admit that I was surprised by the list, which was far more comprehensive than I had imagined.
The video’s underlying message is simple: “when you cast your vote this election, make sure the party you choose will keep Australia in the business of making stuff”. It then directs viewers to its website, where they can view a comparison of each major party’s manufacturing policies.
