You want to make friends with your enemies; don’t complain when they use your resources to attack you:

Anthony Albanese has confirmed the government have made “appropriate diplomatic representations” following a Chinese fighter jet dropping flares dangerously close to an Australian Navy helicopter over the weekend.

“We regard this as unprofessional and … unacceptable. And we’ve made clear that view to Beijing,” the Prime Minister told Channel 9 Today.

“It’s completely unacceptable that you have an Australian Defence Force personnel engaged in work, importantly for the international community, in international waters, and international airspace.

Ho-hum, Albo, It was you who restored the China trade dependence.

You recently opened a loophole for Chinese cash to resume bribing Aussie parliaments.

It was you who blamed Australia for the trade war and the 14 conditions to end democracy.

You grovelled your way to winning the Chinese diaspora seats at the last election.

It was you who crawled back to Beijing.

Hence, it was Albo who ignored the structural schism between the illiberal Chinese system and the liberal Australian version. Prefering to see it as a cyclical issue.

Don’t complain when your molecules are rained back upon your military.

There’s plenty more to come.
