Retail sales are slowing

The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) has released retail sales figures for the month of January, which registered zero seasonally-adjusted growth in sales over the month with annual sales slowing to 3.3% – the slowest pace since September 2013:

In trend terms, annual retail sales growth slowed to 3.7% – also the slowest pace since September 2013.
