CPI in detail: Inflationary pressures well contained

The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) has released the Consumer Price Index (CPI) data for the June quarter 0f 2018, which registered both soft headline and underlying inflation.

According to the ABS, headline CPI rose by 0.4% in the June quarter, the same as the March quarter:
