Australia’s trade surplus rises on surging commodity exports

The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) today released trade data for the month of June, with Australia’s trade surplus rising to $1,873 million in June from $725 million in May:

Over the June quarter, Australia recorded a trade surplus of $3,192 million, slightly lower than the March quarter ($3,357 million):
