NSW Health has released today’s COVID figures with another 18 locally acquired cases recorded, 13 of which were already announced yesterday morning:
NSW recorded 18 locally acquired cases of COVID-19 in the 24 hours to 8pm last night, 13 of which were already announced yesterday morning.

According to NSW Health:
- There are now 36 cases linked to the Bondi cluster and 49 local cases overall.
- 8 of these new cases are linked to a birthday party in West Hoxton, attended by a previously reported case linked to the Bondi cluster. About 30 people attended this party and they have all been tested and are in isolation.
- Most concerning, a hairdresser from Western Sydney who worked in Double Bay is among the new cases. They are not linked to a known case or cluster and urgent investigations are underway.
- Six locally acquired cases were also notified overnight and will be included in tomorrow’s numbers. All have been in isolation while infectious.
