QLD Premier Anastasia Palaszczuk has tightened restrictions after the state recorded 6 new locally acquired COVID cases, four of which were linked to the aviation cluster:

There are currently 22 active COVID cases across QLD.
The tighter restrictions will apply from 4pm today and will run for the next two weeks for Brisbane, Gold Coast, Moreton Bay, Logan, Townsville and Palm Island:
- The number of people allowed into homes will be 30;
- Weddings and funerals will be capped at 100; and
- Restaurants and cafes will return to one person per 4sqm.
