Business lobby demands endless fake ‘skilled’ migrant workers

The biggest immigration intake in this nation’s history is not enough to satisfy Australia’s various business lobbies, who are demanding the federal government open the sluice gates even wider.

Industry groups are calling for the visa application process to be further streamlined and for employers to have unlimited flexibility in terms of migrant workers they can sponsor to fill vacant positions.

For example, the Housing Industry Association has called for a visa specific to the residential building industry to help address trade shortages so that they can build homes for the influx of new migrants.
