Productivity Commission revamp won’t improve outcomes

Treasurer Jim Chalmers has indicated that a revamp of the Productivity Commission will be on the federal government’s agenda in 2023. Chalmers is believed to favour overhauling the Productivity Commission (PC) by broadening and deepening its work on economic policy and keeping a central focus on boosting productivity:
