Doomed Dutton has cut through of wet lettuce

Have a listen to bully boy Ray Hadley push around “doomed” Peter Dutton yesterday.

Doomed Dutton finally did take on the growing frustrations around mass immigration but his delivery lacks fire, pointedness, and force. He comes across as a bore and a technocrat.

Sure, so goes the conventional wisdom, Australians are fed up with conflict in politics. But it still needs some sizzle and this bloke is not it.

This is not going destabilise Albo, who is much the same these days, albeit without much technocratic expertise.

Judgement, policy, delivery are all a big, fat fail for this bloke.
