Victoria’s 90-kilometre Suburban Rail Loop (SRL) is arguably Australia’s worst infrastructure project ever.

Just before the 2018 State Election, former Premier Daniel Andrews announced this project.

Andrews initially announced that the SRL’s three stages would cost $50 billion. However, the cost to build and run the project has already risen to more than $200 billion.
