Labor’s immigration “out-of-control”

I noted earlier this week how net overseas migration continues to run hot, despite moderating somewhat from last year’s peak.

Over the first eight months of 2024, Australia received a record 358,964 net permanent and long-term arrivals. This was about 5,000 higher than last year’s record arrivals and 115,500 higher than the same period in 2019:
