I reported on Monday how Australian households have experienced a record 8.4% decline in real per capita incomes since the Albanese government came to office in Q2 2022.
This decline in real household disposable incomes is also the largest in the developed world.
Polling released this week by Resolve Political Monitor showed that 59% of voters felt “worse off” under the Albanese government.
A separate survey from JWS Research showed that cost of living and housing supply and affordability are the two dominant areas Australians want the Federal Government to focus on.
The survey also revealed that 43% of respondents believed that their standard of living has worsened over the past two years.
Polling undertaken by RedBridge in August revealed that only 24% of respondents could name a single thing that had made their lives better since the Albanese government was elected.
The latest polling from Resolve Political Monitor also showed that only 21% of respondents agreed with the Albanese government’s slogan claiming “we have your back” with 56% disagreeing.
The above data highlights why the Albanese government is at grave risk of becoming Australia’s first one-term federal government since the Great Depression.
Living standards have collapsed and voters aren’t happy.
