With Western Australians due to head to the polls in March, the Liberal Opposition has offered empty-nesters and other older voters a $20,000 stamp duty rebate if they downsize.
“The Cook Labor Government have run out of ideas to address the housing crisis that has been created under their watch”, Liberal Leader Libby Mettam announced on Saturday.
Mettam claimed the stamp duty relief would “unlock” about 5000 properties across Western Australia.
