The US isn’t unreliable, Australia is

Honestly, what a pack of wingers.

Washington has refused to allow us to cheat it out of a lousy $700m of steel and aluminum exports and ANZUS is off, screams the MSM!

Australia does subsidise aluminium and steel production. If we didn’t the gas cartel would have killed both long ago.

More to the point, a Chinese flotilla of three ships – three – just humiliated the Australian navy and government, circumnavigating the island continent unmolested and hypothetically nuking every major city in an act of brazen gunboat diplomacy.

What did we do? Nothing.

Why? Because the Albanese government is in thrall to China.

It blamed Australia for the 14 conditions to end democracy in 2021.

It has groveled its way out of trade diversification in a way that makes Washington defence planners shake their heads in disgust.

It never even uses the word “China” for fear of offence.

Well, guess what? The jig is up. AFR.

Australian researchers who collaborate with US federal agencies have been asked to declare links to China and if they comply with Donald Trump’s two-gender policy, sparking fears their funding could be cut if they fall foul of his anti-DEI, America First agenda.

In recent weeks, a 36-point questionnaire was sent directly to Australians who conduct joint research with US partners in fields as diverse as foreign aid, medicine, vaccines and defence. The questionnaire circumvented university leaders and administrators and, in at least one instance gave a 48-hour deadline, according to sources who have seen the correspondence but were not authorised to speak publicly.

Australia’s tertiary whores have been selling themselves to the highest bidder for several decades. It’s far past time they answer for it.

Amusingly, this is fast approaching a far bigger problem for the greedy little Australian globalist than anyone currently dares imagine.

The US has had enough of protecting those that won’t protect themselves. It has had enough of those that claim allegiance while enriching themselves at the expense of the sustainability of the liberal capitalism the US has spent blood on for seventy years. It has had enough of those that don’t protect the cultural values that underpin that liberal capitalist system.

There is no better example in the world of who the US is fed up with than Australia, with its Chinese groveling, immigration-led economic model, and preposterous military weakness.

The US isn’t unreliable. We are. And Washington is done with it.
