ABC lacks balance and objectivity on immigration and housing

The taxpayer-funded ABC refuses to discuss the immigration-housing issue with objectivity and balance.

On Wednesday, I lambasted the ABC for choosing two well-renowned Big Australia propagandists—the ANU Migration Hub’s resident shill, Alan Gamlen, and the Grattan Institute (which is sponsored by Big Australia lobby group, the Scanlon Foundation)—to debunk the claim that excessive migration is a major driver of the rental crisis.

Gamlen lied that Australia’s housing demand was driven by “a natural increase of the Australian-born population”. He also lied by claiming that immigration was “plummeting”, despite being higher than at any time in Australia’s pre-pandemic history.
